Who or what are you supporting in 2008???

A colleague of mine sent this to me yesterday and I thought it might be of interest to some of you.
Enjoy!

This
is an interesting design for candidate-preference diagnostic quiz. I am
not sure it measures what it thinks it measures, but it has an
interesting way to factor in the importance of various issues.

That didn't turn out like I thought either. Hillary was my top candidate, which didn't particularly shock me. Richardson was next, followed closely by Edwards and Dodd. What really surprised me was that I didn't have one point for Obama.

Interesting.

I wonder how it would have turned out if I could have selected more than one per person. It seemed to me that there were a few topics where they were all pretty close.

I would probably vote for Gore too.

I'm apparently a Richardson man. Which surprised me, but not much. I think the weakness of this "poll" is that they were quoting the individuals, as opposed to at least trying to have an independent paraphrasing of each individual's policy. Most of the text was lifted out of debate, and it is clear that everyone was pussy-footing around issues, as evidenced (as Steve pointed out) by the fact that many of the "choices" weren't choices at all.) I think the repub one (didn't take it) is probably more interesting because the candidates have more tangible differences.

I tried out the Republican one, it was painful. I apparently am (by far) a Ron Paul man, followed by McCain, and then distantly by Romney.

What was interesting to me was how many questions I had to leave blank because I was appalled by all of them. Seriously, I probably only answered half of them.

If, god forbid, any Republican wins, I might actually have to move to another country. Somewhere warm.
